Lincus
UCONN'S NEW RESEARCH DISCOVERY TOOL
What is Lincus?
Lincus is an expertise and collaboration network designed to connect researchers, faculty, and staff across the University of Connecticut. By leveraging data integration and search capabilities, Lincus helps users discover topics of inquiry, foster interdisciplinary collaborations, and enhance research visibility within the UConn community.
DATA, COLLABORATION, AND MORE
How does it work?
Lincus aggregates data from both Interfolio and Scopus to create comprehensive profiles for UConn faculty and show connections based on contribution collaborations. It is a Laravel-based web application that utilizes a search engine to index and retrieve data efficiently. Users can search for individuals based on various criteria, including research interests, publications, and departmental affiliations.
BUILT FOR YOU, MANAGED BY YOU
How to update your profile
To update your profile information, please log in to your Interfolio account, where you can manage your academic and professional details. Any changes made in Interfolio will be reflected in Lincus during the next data synchronization.
Some publications and co-author connections are sourced from Scopus and cannot be edited directly in Interfolio. You may add or remove Scopus IDs from your profile, as we understand that not all publications may be indexed with the IDs we currently have.
